1. Coverage

MDC Painters Pro warrants that for a period of two (2) years from the project completion date, painted vertical surfaces we prepare, and finish will be free from defects in workmanship. If paint peels, blisters, flakes, or cracks because of our surface preparation or application, we will supply all labor and materials to correct the affected areas at no additional cost.

2. Surfaces Covered

​

• Interior and exterior vertical walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and siding painted by MDC Painters Pro.

3. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

​

• Horizontal or walking surfaces such as floors, decks, steps, handrails, porches, and window sills exposed to standing water, snow, or foot traffic.

• Moisture-prone locations (e.g., bathrooms lacking ventilation, basements with water intrusion, areas subject to roof or plumbing leaks).

• Bleeding from nails, rust, knots, resins, or tannins present in the substrate or building materials.

• Normal wear and tear, color fading, or damage from weather, UV exposure, or aging of building materials.

• Paint product failure (covered under the manufacturer’s own warranty).

• Damage caused by structural movement, settling, accidents, fire, or other natural disasters.

• Work altered, touched-up, or repaired by anyone other than MDC Painters Pro.

 

4. Conditions for Warranty to Remain Valid

• Full payment of all invoices and related accounts within the agreed terms.

• The property owner must maintain painted surfaces, including addressing leaks, repairing structural issues, and cleaning mildew or dirt as needed.

• Prompt written notice of any defect within two years of the project’s completion date.

• Proof of purchase and project completion date.

 

5. Manufacturer’s Warranty

Paint and coating failures caused by product defects are covered under the paint manufacturer’s warranty. MDC Painters Pro will assist the property owner in making a manufacturer claim if needed.

We will schedule an inspection to determine if the issue qualifies for warranty service.
